Reiki as healingtechnique builds on a tradition that in the last century was redetected and developed by a japan by the name Dr. Mikao Usui. Usui lived at the end of the last century, and was general manager and a Christian priest at a university in Kyoto. He he became interested in finding out more about healingtechniques to Christ, and this was reason that he searched in the ancient Buddhist writings, in which he came across reiki as a method. He found the symbols and the mantra that is the basis for reiki. After a special meditative experience, where he felt he had a deeper understanding of how these symbols could be used, he began to use this healingmethod and drawn up guidelines for how to live with reiki. Central to reiki is that you have to ask to bring healing, in the beginning had given Usui healing to the poor people who had not asked to do so, and he gradually realized that the healer had to take part in their own healingprosess. Usui inaugurated a successor who started up a clinic in Tokyo, and this is the start of what today is a growing movement of masters such as initiation of students in reiki. Reiki is a simple method that does not require any special knowledge, and which are based on an old healingtradisjon ..Reiki is Japanese and means really a cosmic and universal energy, in which the "ki" means life force, something we all have in us. Reiki is to provide our own energy, all we need energy in some form, we do not take care of ourselves, can this go beyond both the psyche and physics. Reiki can give you more livsenergi and balance the energy in the body. Reiki can work in different ways, depending on what you need, or the body requires. Energy is at their destinations, many people get reikitreatment or learns reiki, find that they go through a cleansing process, this is, of course, no rule, but quite another.
